I bought this for my husband to use with his work laptop. This works very well and helps him have fewer problems when working in darker light. He used to have a work laptop with a backlit keyboard and got a new laptop without a backlight. This will help reduce his frustration at work. I had to try it out on my laptop of course before it came home. It is very nice. I didn't have to read the instructions (very easy to set up). It was a bit loose on my 17" laptop, but the light illuminated my entire keyboard well. I'm sure with a little tweaking it could be made really snug so it doesn't wobble anymore. I liked that has a cool and warm lighting so it works well in any situation. There is also a brightener and a dimmer so you get just the amount of light you need. The only downside, if you can call it that, is, that the back lock is a bit bigger than I thought. But for the price I think it's an amazing find! Highly recommend!
