As you can see from the product photos and the instructions that come with it, it's supposed to have a screw to increase the lever tension so the hand can be held raised and moved and stays in place when you release it. The design has been changed and now they only have a hex screw in the hinge which my 10 inch Samsung tablet can't hold (I don't think it would even be possible to hold any surface with that design). However, when I contacted the company about the design change, I received no response. That's why I'm here to tell you that you should use something like PUREX technology, although that lever needs to be loosened and tightened again if you want to change the position of the tablet, at least not. No need to dig out an Allen key and over-tighten screws.
