Bought this for Christmas and my 18 month old son was appalled but eventually got used to it and now loves his horse. I tried for a long time to choose one or the other that was higher, but I settled on this one. My son is in the 90th percentile for height and weight and I'm 5'10 so we're not short people. This horse was the perfect size. My son's feet barely touched the wooden running boards and the horse, six months later, is still my son's height and he's still in the 90th percentile. The only downside is the smell it gives off and how loud the horse sings. I've only aired the horse out in my pantry for a couple of weeks. No doubt it contains nasty chemicals. but when I get tired of eliminating all chemicals from our lives, I go insane and have to quit my job. Neck. My solution: take out the batteries. Can't give 5 stars due to exhaust fumes and high decibels in my voice box. However, the good grades are due to my son's fun and affection for his horse.
