My wife loves this mirror. However, it was a PIA to install! The pigtail wires are too short, the wires were only about 3 inches long, making it very difficult to connect to house wiring. The wall mounting plate should have large holes for wiring. The cable cover needs to be positioned so that there is more room for the wall mount screws - now I'd like to take it off and throw it away as it really serves no purpose other than to hide ugly factory cables. New Installation Recommendations Remove and discard the internal wiring cover. Cut off the short pigtail and replace it with a longer one to make it easier for you to connect the wires without help. The factory needs to consider adding a dimming function - the light is very bright!,
