Review on Waterproof Case for DSLR Cameras: DiCAPac WP-S10 Pro Series by Andrew Britton

Good entry-level case

The case works as intended. I didn't have any water leakage. If you are interested in this body I highly recommend browsing YouTube videos for reviews and see other cameras uploading etc. A few notes for those serious about filming with it. The most important is the front element. It's polycarbonate, which means plastic. The pictures are a bit bland. But for the portrait tests I did, everything was fine. Second important note: the front element is NOT attached to the lens. You need to press it against the front of the lens in the body to avoid vignetting. Not a big deal, but I struggled with body buoyancy, my personal buoyancy, and then had to squeeze the lens mount. So it was cumbersome, but very doable with practice. The third note is the finger ports. There are (3). Two around the lens barrel so you can zoom or focus. I never used them. Then (1) is on the trigger to allow some control access. I personally would adjust the controls and field of view and avoid using the finger holes too much. These are potential sources of error. This is another type of plastic that is heat sealed. If you remember this and understand that this is the failure point, you shouldn't have any problems. Finally, the last problem is the buoyancy of the bag mentioned above. You can't remove the air (which I think is the same for all products like this) so it wants to float to the surface. I bought some 2# sea pearls and placed them in the bottom of the bag to try and achieve neutral buoyancy in the pool. Again, as long as you respect the process of sealing the pouch each time you use it and are also aware of the potential for error. points, everything will be fine. I've since switched to another product, but don't hesitate to use it as a backup. Hope that helps.
