I only ordered this product to protect the inside of my hat from makeup and light sweat. I have read many reviews of earplugs not holding up against heavy sweating and the earplugs not staying in place. Other than that, I wasn't planning on exercising much with this hat liner, or playing golf in the summer sun. I made sure the liner was really pressed against the hat so it wouldn't slip. I can report that after a few weeks of wearing these hat liners have served the purpose I ordered them for. Bonus, they stayed in place too. I plan to order a replacement over time so overall I'm happy with the product.
