The size was great for our 3 month old who understands that swaddling means 'sleep time'. However, he kicks a few times and the middle one separates. Velcro does not create a strong hold as the top of the fold is just fabric and not the appropriate portion of velcro needed for a secure closure. The width is large and fits my 20lb 4 month old and that was the main reason we got it. (Though we're updating our first one as it fitted too tight and felt like it was restricting his breathing as his chest didn't fully lift.) It's really stretchy and adjustable in width. However, it suits his 26" long body fairly well and keeps his legs bent (unless he unzips the middle). The diaper itself is very soft and the colors are bright with cute patterns. Overall my sleeps Baby good at it. Just wish they wouldn't fall apart/open so easily.
