I've spent too much time assembling the ecoFLEX LitterLoo (Jumbo) litter box. The assembly is not difficult, but I had to assemble 2 times. The instructions are not very good, they are just very small drawings. None of the pieces are labeled, so lay them all out first when you open the box and identify which piece has which number. I suggest going to http://www.newagepet.com/product/ehlb-habitat-n-home-litter-loo/ to watch the build video. The assembler in the video didn't seem to mind that his parts didn't fit together smoothly. The assembly video does not properly reflect this issue during the assembly process. The first time I almost fully assembled a vanity I had to take it apart and start over because the panels/holes/etc. were not aligned. To the right. I had a huge gap in the front that caused the top to not fit properly, so I took it apart and started over. I decided to try swapping the left and right panels. These panels look exactly the same so I'm not sure why swapping the pieces made all the difference in the world so all the pieces fit together better the second time around. Anyhoo - A few tips on assembling this thing - don't follow the instructions that require you to install and screw on the two front corner pieces first... I suggest installing the back corner pieces first rather than fully tightening the screws... you need to do this by wiggling everything around a bit of panels and corner pieces to make sure everything fits together and the holes line up so you can put all the screws in. Then you can tighten everything at the end. It's not necessary to have a second pair of hands, but if you can ask a friend for help, it can be very helpful. All the parts are some kind of hard plastic (even all the screws). My item was packaged very well - although there was a lot of plastic shavings all over the box and all parts (which ended up on the floor - so have a vacuum handy). There were several small scratches and one large (more like a dent) on top. They weren't terrible enough to justify trying to get replacement parts. I bought a cosmetic box from Expresso Black. The instructions state that you can clean your ecoFLEX products with "any household cleaner". Please see my posted photos to see what was left on the cleaning cloth after I cleaned the top with SimpleGreen Cleaner. I didn't have the same color rendering on any of the other parts of the case - only on the upper part. The giant base is quite large and easily fits a litter box, a litter scoop, and a small metal box that contains the scoop. . I do notice that cleaning the tray is a bit more difficult since the door swings forward instead of to the side (maybe the manufacturer is considering redesigning the door?). The cabinet makes a very solid impression. and the magnets holding the door seem pretty strong. My kittens had just started exploring the closet and were hanging out in a small area between the shelves and above. Now we just have to wait and see if my kittens actually come into that closet and use the litter box.
