Great alternative to stick

I like to keep certain things separate (software backups, document backups etc) and the stick is not suitable for writing on which makes this stick a real find. Unlike some drives, when I plugged it into my Windows 10 PC, it showed 119GB available, which surprised me since even the 128GB drives I used give me the same amount of space. This means that Kexin actually measured their disk space as computers use it. . The drive itself has a USB-C connector and comes with two USB-C or USB-A (3.0) cables, so you can easily connect it to a computer or hub. The cables are a bit short (just 9 inches tip-to-tip), but finding a longer cable isn't a problem. The drive has a tiny blue light next to the connector when the drive is connected and data is being transferred. I transferred 76GB files to it to test capacity and speed. It started out with a steady write speed of around 115 MB/s, but after a few minutes it got really hot and the speed dropped to around 34 MB/s. I ran another test with about 8GB of music files, showed an initial transfer rate of over 230MB/s, which then dropped to about 44MB/s after the first few gigabytes were transferred and the drive had warmed up again. After both transfers finished , the drive will cool down again, so just something to be aware of for a long term or sustained data transfer. What I love about this flash drive is that I can connect it to a hub with the cable and still access it without having to move the hub. It works a little more than a flash drive of the same capacity, but to me it's worth the extra for greater data integrity, easier searching, and plugging and unplugging.
