I've had it for a few days. At first it seemed to work, but this morning she went to the same place. Even after using the atomizer once, it didn't work. Luckily I had another atomizer to use, so I poured it onto my bottle. I will keep trying on the stained area for a few more days and hope after numerous uses it will start to have a lasting effect. It is possible that a broken vaporizer is a one-time use. I hope other people don't have problems with the atomizer either. Pets are not expected to return to the area. That's the part I need to see if it works. At the moment it is when my pet returned to the same place once but didn't go there other days.
