This is the PERFECT shoe for working in the garden or around the yard. They are strong, light, waterproof and closed. I've had dirt on previous pairs of "crappy tennis shoes" — the ones we all have that we don't want to throw away — and I've gotten over it. Removing them from the hose is literally that easy. They're comfy, roomy, soft, light... there's nothing to hate about Crocs except their ridiculous style. a lot this summer and I plan to buy a new pair if need be.
