I have found that the length and thickness of the pumice stone I buy at my local grocery and hardware store shrinks over time. These stones are the size I used 20 years ago when I first discovered them. They're soft enough to crumble and won't scratch china, they don't make the sound of nails on a plaque like some others. They float on the surface of the water, so if I drop one of them I can easily retrieve them! I would definitely buy them in the future. In my area where there is well water, the hard water tank rings are being removed from the toilets. Exactly what I needed.
