I went with a medium based off of reviews of other women’s body type similar to mine. I am 5’6” and 164lbs. I felt it ran a little small. I think if I went up a size, I would have felt more comfortable/confident in it despite my "mommy tummy” but otherwise it was comfortable to wear. The lace wasn’t itchy. It had a little stretch to it. I wish the straps in the back were adjustable as well. I felt that was where the tightest part of the outfit was. Otherwise the straps adjusted nicely. Held up good in its first wash as well.
