The comb is small, but it glides easily through my thinning hair. Won't catch or pull tangled hair. For me it's perfect. Now I had to add a small amount of glue to the tongue that was attached to the comb as the tongue came loose. But he's served me well ever since. I'll hate the day I lose this comb. The leather case works well as a hairbrush, and the case fits well in small pockets. I was surprised by the comb's smaller size and was initially disappointed, but once I started using it I was reminded that sometimes good things come in small sizes.
