I love this set of salt and pepper grinders. I had many others. Some are battery operated, which inevitably means the batteries need to be replaced. some without batteries that go to ground very slowly or hurt my hand when used. This grinder set is battery free and very easy to use. They rub off quickly and are painless for my hands. I also like that I can see how many are in it. Right now we're using them for Himalayan pink salt and black peppercorns. The only "downside" is that the grind is a bit coarse and can't be adjusted (and if so, I don't see how). That's how I usually like freshly ground salt and pepper; If I want it to be good, I just use pre-ground. So for me it's not a problem. They also grind so fast that a lot comes out at once, so be careful.
