Review on Rothco Glove Liner Black Small by Greg Simms

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great economical gloves for everyday use in the cold.

Well I've known wool military gloves since my dad was in the army. These are the same ones I remember from my childhood with my father's old ones. Yes, they are a little prickly at first. It does wear out a bit over time and the people who have complained are kinda funny. Those are wool gloves, folks! Do you really expect them to feel like silk? As mentioned in other reviews they state that they are 100% wool which is a bit misleading as it is a blend of wool and nylon. I can't remember if that was the case with my dad's old army gloves, but it doesn't really matter to me. They feel and act just as I remember them from the past. So again, I don't mind not having 100 percent wool. It would be fair if the seller changed the description to wool/nylon blend. Considering the price I'm very happy with them and found them to work very well on their own - I never use them as a balaclava, only as gloves for quick trips out in the cold. The black is way more stylish than the army green my dad had! All in all, these are great gloves for short walks in the cold, such as a commute or a jog. If you're going to be working outdoors in freezing temperatures all day, you might want to consider buying thicker gloves. After all, they are originally only designed for earphones.
