As the title says I find them good for the home but not for long trips. If you're like me you want to stop or minimize leakage, but you want to do it the natural way. Because they're made from pure cotton with no moisture barrier or PUL layer, they absorb moisture but don't stop it from penetrating clothing. So if you have severe frustration, frequent leakage or constipation I would not recommend this. For at home and if I can quickly replace them if they break down, they're perfect. Another reviewer complained about shrinkage, but when you're dealing with organic cotton, or cotton in general, that's to be expected. I'm including photos showing the shrinkage I've experienced and also comparing it to another popular disposable nursing pad. I didn't find this a problem, but I will say I didn't put mine in the dryer. I wash them in a laundry bag, stretch them out, shape them and lay them flat to dry. I think they're a bit like cloth diapers and need to be rinsed with vinegar every few washes to flush out excess detergent and ensure they retain their absorbency. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
