Love it! Skin Care: Skin Care

Before I get into the actual review, I would like to address my skin first. I'm Caucasian, late 30s, with fairly fair skin, apart from the occasional hormonal acne along my jawline. My main skincare concerns are perpetually rosy cheeks (not rosacea but Scottish-Irish heritage; I always look like I wear blush), small blackheads on my nose, slightly uneven skin tone, and anti-aging products. Although I have fair skin, I have extremely tough skin that can take a lot of abuse. Almost nothing irritates this other. I am a skin care addict and used to work in the skin care department of an upscale department store selling brands like Bliss, Caudalie, Kneipp and Kiehls. I'm pretty good at skincare and makeup and I love trying new products. I like it. My skin feels absolutely amazing! No more annoying itching. I also love that it's organic. I was a little concerned that it would smell strongly of tamanu oil, which is one of the ingredients listed, as tamanu oil has a very strong odor. If you're not familiar with the scent, it's hard to imagine or describe what it smells like, but if you're pregnant, it probably won't smell great. This oil smells predominantly of lavender. I can't say if it significantly reduces stretch marks, but it does seem to make a difference. I'm sure it would be perfect for preventing new stretch marks, and I think I'd prefer it to cocoa butter, which I kind of couldn't stand the smell of. I can recommend it unreservedly and would buy it again at any time. I will update my review if at any point my opinion or experience with the product changes.
