Review on 🔋 High-Performance Alternator Replacement: Honda Accord 3.0L V6 1998-2002, Acura CL 3.0L 1997-1999 by Benjamin Robinson

Purchased for a 1999 Honda Accord EX v6. They removed the old wheeze generator and replaced it with this one. I struggled longer than I should have been trying to get the mounting bolts in because the mounting points on this alternator are not positioned correctly as they are on a stock Honda alternator. This one is a fraction of an inch narrower. I barely had to screw in either mounting bolt and then try to hold the alternator at an angle (while also pulling it back for more bolt play) and try to tighten the damn bolt. It also doesn't help that there's not a lot of hand/work space in this car either. Finally I understood. The rest of the strap and wire installation was easy. I don't know if other brands of generators suffer from the same problem but I would definitely try this generator as it worked with a little more patience. The car started immediately and the alternator did what it was supposed to do. No more whining, a fully charged battery and no more dimming and no more AC.
