Beware of misleading sizes

The height of this product is indicated as 1.5 inches. I measured from the floor to the bottom of my door and it was about 1 inch so I figured this would work perfectly. After it arrived I found that half the 1.5" height is actually a support rod that needs to be inserted into a hole drilled in the floor. So the true height of this item is only 0.75-inch, making it useless on my door as the door just swings over it and doesn't touch. Please consider this before placing an order.
