received yesterday. From the box. I noticed that the plastic is a bit "cheaper" than I expected, but I gave it a shot. Read the instructions twice. Plugged in to charge the battery (the backup battery needs to be charged even though the device is running on AC power). Fully charged tonight. Everyone likes to use it. Turn on . . . receive an orange/blue beep. The manual says "the battery needs to be charged". WHAT? Connected back (an hour ago). The light is orange again (meaning it's charging). like that . . . there was a green light. Ready to use. Included. Receive an orange-blue flashing light to indicate the battery needs charging. In the time that I was tinkering with this device, I could have cleaned the window inside and out by now. I thought I had a bug, but I'll give it another full night. Looks like there won't be an experimental cleanup tonight. 2020 is on the way. . .
