DEEP AND NOT EASY TO USE

I don't recommend this to anyone looking for a basic label maker. It has all sorts of bells and whistles that might be useful to some people willing to take the time to learn, but I'm throwing mine away. I just wanted to print simple labels for my files and cables and it was a constant struggle. When you open a regular software package, you have a million options and it's not intuitive what to do. They offer a simplified version of the 'P-Touch Snap' that pops up on the desktop and lets you type the label right away, but uses a giant font - and I couldn't figure out how to change that setting. . Worst of all, it's slow and buggy. It turns off automatically, so you always have to turn it on first when you use it, and then it may take about 20 seconds to print. And sometimes it doesn't print at all. I kept getting error messages on my Windows 10 PC that the printer was not connected to the network. I tried disabling it and installing a new driver and then it didn't work at all. So it goes in the bin and I think I'll have to use a portable label printer. I used to use Dymo with my PC and it was easy to use, but then I kept getting stacks of labels with so little adhesive that they fell off. Why can't anyone make a simple, decent labeler for a desktop machine?
