Overall I'm happy with this beat. It certainly adds flexibility to the shoulders and gives more control. I am unhappy that the curb strap is rusting. We have 3 weeks. I would pay more for stainless steel. This may be familiar to some, but as a beginner you should use a coupler with this racquet to get up to speed. Using one is not necessarily a "hole" in learning. I would have liked the brass rings on the dog bone mouthpiece. My horses love them which is nice because horses love to play games.
