Review on Yottamaster 6 Pack Hard Drive Mounting Bracket Hard Disk Caddy SSD HDD Tray Hard Disk Drive Bays Holder Compatible With 2 by Theodore Huynh

I have a 4 bay system, couldn't justify paying almost double the price for an additional bay. I loaded all 4 bays with 2TB Western Digital Red drives. A USB 3 port connected to a USB 3 hub, and even through a hub, transfer speeds are excellent. None of the drives or enclosures gave me any major problems, and only once did I have an issue that a reboot fixed immediately. .Some have mentioned that the power indicator is on the back, which is true, but I don't find that bothersome, in fact I prefer it. These days, every little fool has to impress you with dazzling LEDs, some so bright they sting your eye if you look directly at them. It's pretty pointless for me to look at the LED to tell me the obvious if the drives are listed. it is included If I ever need to add or replace a drive, I still need access to the device. I think to each his own, but that's not a problem for me. rather it is appreciated. I already have enough flashing things. Since I leave this plugged in all the time and never turn it off, it slowed down the boot times a bit. As mentioned in other reviews, booting up takes a few seconds, and while your system is waiting for the drives to announce their presence and/or the BIOS to look for boot devices, wait for the drives and/or drive bay to activate start to work. But. It's only a few seconds and it doesn't matter. Hard drives stop after a period of inactivity. I'm not sure if it's the drive or the case, but it still reduces wear and tear on the drives. I was a bit surprised to find that the disc trays are made of plastic. However, once the drives are mounted and installed in the drive bay, I don't think it matters anymore. The drive bay comes with enough small screws to secure the drives to the trays and a screwdriver that is provided. (Hey guys, a few extra screws would be nice.) :-) This is a nice case, the aluminum case looks nice and works great. I could order another one. I realized at first that I never wrote a review. So, here I liked it enough to buy a second one.
