Pocket watch worth every penny

This watch comes with a chain not shown in the photos or description. This is the same chain as the Charles-Hubert Paris mechanical pocket watch, only in silver. The watch itself is beautiful and weighs seriously. It arrived in the box in a black cardboard box, so the packaging looks nice if you're buying it as a gift. The watch was in a black cloth pouch in the inner box. It also comes with basic instructions and a lens cleaning cloth. The clock itself looks very nice in an upright position on a table with a swiveling footrest. One reviewer said that one of the "pins" on the footrest fell out of his watch. I examined mine and the "pins" were actually tiny Phillips head screws. I can't imagine how they would come out of the watch on their own if there wasn't a lot of tinkering with the stand or a bad screw hole. The screws on mine seem very secure. The second hand on my watch was at the 30 second mark when it arrived and as soon as I started winding the watch it started moving. There is no way to stop the second hand with the stock once it starts moving if you want to set the time exactly in UTC. Therefore, before winding your watch, if you wish to adjust it to UTC time, do not start winding until the UTC seconds count matches the seconds hand. The front glass cover is large enough to see the entire dial. The only reason you'll ever have to open it to see the time is if you stick a photo on the cover. The glass cover unscrews for easy attachment of photos, and the bezel is riveted so you can easily grab it to unscrew it. seen through the rear window. All crystals on this item are glass, not plastic. Be sure to read the instructions before winding your watch or fiddling with the bar to open and close the lid. It will only take a minute to fully understand the instructions, but it is important to read and understand. This watch is definitely worth the price. (Edited to add: When I bought this watch it was $90.)
