Review on Jagger Safety Rubber Coated Handle by Chantelle Mills

Nice but too soft, best for men

This is a beautifully crafted, good quality razor with a good weight and finish. It works like a butter knife. I shave every day so I didn't have a full beard when I tried the razor. I used a feather blade known for its extreme sharpness. For me, the weakness of this razor is the lack of cutting power due to the super-soft blade gap on the head. I had to soap and shave three times, but the results were still mediocre. I usually shave in one or two passes with a safety razor at work. I ended up going at a pretty extreme angle and putting in a lot more effort than I've ever used with a safety razor and I still felt the result was okay. I'm not one to shave very closely as I shave every day for work and the constant visits to the super barbershop only cause my skin to become irritated. While I'm not a fan of intimacy, this razor gave me what I would call an unacceptable amount of work in a day's work. I would say if you ever wanted a safety razor that soft you would have to really actively try to cut yourself to get a cut, that's all. For the record, I don't need an angled razor or a super sharp razor to get a good shave. I've been using safety razors regularly for about 7 years and this is the first time I've called it 'too soft' to be useful.
