Cheap piece of junk

Used as a laptop stand 3 times. Otherwise it sat in a bag in my truck for the last year or so. The third time I took it out to install, one of the legs just fell to the floor as I unlatched it. I tried putting it back in place but it wouldn't stay in place. Somewhere I found a piece of plastic ring that seemed to hold it in place.
