Guten Tag. I bought this HDD in May 2022. Now it is November 2022. From February to May I had a WD1003FZEX, which regularly made noise like the hero of my review. WD10EZEX worked all this time like clockwork. Its only drawback is vibration andcomnstantrustle because of them. I replaced it with HTS721010A9E630, because the always buzzingcomputer is tired. Now - silence. For the sake of interest, I decided to check - what was so buzzing there? Opened. . Jpg? dl=0 See photo. Red shows a recess, the purpose of which I did not understand. The undercut causes the disc spindle to be out of center and creates vibration. What have I not done with this disc! And I hung it on elastic bands, and put a massive stand, and wrapped it with foamrubber in a box from an old CD drive. In general, I do not recommend it for twocomnditions - 1) noise, 2) vibration loads on the spindle bearing, which can disable it at any time.
