When making a classical guitar the biggest problem I faced was the curved sides. I solved this problem by making male and female shapes out of styrofoam. The two sides of the female form had undersides and ribs. Bodice and ribs for the male form. Thin sheets of veneer bend easily. I apply glue to the inner surfaces of the veneer. Teflon (PTFE film) separates - remember I'm dyslexic - the outer and inner surfaces of the veneer from the mould. This is a very simplified description of how I use this product. When demoulded, the sides hold their shape perfectly.
