My cat gets an average of 2-3 urinary tract infections a year and I do everything in my power to prevent them. She has a water well which I keep clean and she ended up feeding her the food the vet prescribed but she continued to get urinary tract infections. I found a holistic vet online who talked about making your own food, or if you need to buy something, get something low carb, high protein. So I found this food and tried it with her mousse wet food because my cat only eats wet pie food. She loves food and has not had a UTI in the 6 months she has been eating. Her urine seems more regular and no longer stinks. I don't mind spending the price as long as I don't have to take her to the vet 3 times a year and pay for prescription food!
