Balls break in half after short life
These balls work well on smooth indoor surfaces such as tile or painted wood courts. I don't like how they play outdoors, so I wouldn't consider them a "hybrid" game. These balls also tend to break in half during play. The balls will break at the seam long before the cracks you usually see in cucumber balls. Ball life is much shorter than expected. In extreme cases, we have two broken balls in one game.
