The stand fits the monitor snugly. The problem is that it sticks to the monitor in the same place as the original stand and is not strong enough to hold the monitor when the monitor is tilted forward. It has a small bar for the monitor to rest on when it's tilted backwards, but if you need to tilt the monitor forward there's no support. At first I tried to attach the monitor to the pole with industrial velcro, but the bracket wasn't strong enough. I ended up putting a strip of tape on the back so I could use the monitor. If I don't find a better solution, I'll buy another monitor. If you are using a monitor that is tilted away from you or straight, this mount will work. The problem is that it's not strong enough to hold the monitor when it's tilted forward.
