I really liked this Dell KB212 keyboard but I ended up returning it because it wasn't exactly what I was looking for and it only had one flaw that I couldn't fix it to make it work for me. Pros: Medium thin but durable - I was torn about not keeping this as the quality of the keyboard is really high. Although relatively thin, the material used for the base and buttons is very durable and I had no idea the buttons would come loose or the letters would wear out. It's a solid keyboard without looking bulky. Low Profile. These buttons aren't as low as scissor switch buttons, but they are a lot lower than your standard membrane buttons. I'm typing at around 75 wpm and have this sliding motion across the keys, which is why I struggle on standard keyboards because those large and widely spaced keys get in the way of my typing. Calm. This keyboard is very quiet (though not as quiet as a scissor switch, possibly the quietest membrane keyboard I've heard) except for the spacebar. , the space bar was significantly louder than the other keys. This may not be an issue for most people as it wasn't offensively loud, but much louder than the rest of the quiet keys. I get annoyed easily when I hear any keyboard noises, so that annoyed me enough that I brought it back by choosing a scissor-switch keyboard. Low/Flat Seat - This may not be an issue for some people, it really isn't for me. I wanted to point out that the keyboard sits flat and the support legs don't lift much when you're using it. Anyway, the legs keep it sitting straight, and without the legs it tilts down slightly. If you use your keyboard on your lap or don't mind that it's flat, you won't notice it while using it. I purchased an Electronics 4 Us from an Amazon seller and it was shipped promptly in perfect, like-new condition.
