I needed a different pot to fill because I'm just starting to make melting wax and this one caught my eye because of its design. It pours beautifully and I have far less spills compared to a pot with a less clear spout. I also don't have much of a problem with it running down the sides of the pot and not into my molds where the wax should go first! It is very small and narrower at the top than at the bottom. So it's harder to erase once you're done with it. Speaking of small, it can comfortably hold about 10 ounces of unmelted wax, and I manage to fit 12.5 ounces if I'm careful. If you want to go up to the 32oz size, you'll need to add more wax as it melts.
