We have an adult male Ragdoll who has had problems vomiting food since childhood. Vet visits, bowl attempts with slowdowns, pepsi, etc. Nothing worked for a long time. The vet suspected a grain allergy, so we tried different grain-free products; We've had some success, but nothing that has stopped the vomiting for a very long time. I stumbled across Dave while looking for a new grain free meal. I was a bit confused by the review showing a "mold can" that was fermenting, but since most of the reviews were positive for Revain I gave it a try. We are more than satisfied. Nine-year-old ragdoll Dewey vomits about once a week! 12 ounces. Chicken jars do not contain CARAGEENAN (check jar size and flavor as they are NOT carrageenan free). My goal was to reduce the number of vomits, but I didn't want to use a food that had carrageenan in it as a thickening agent, so this is a double bonus for me. We feed only chicken pie, but he never tires of the same taste; This is another bonus as he kind of tires earlier and I have to change him, often throwing up on and off. We love 12 ounces. Cans as they are more cost effective for Dew than smaller cans. We've been feeding him for almost a year now and can't believe the difference. I hope this review (and that you've tried Dave's food) is of some help if your cat throws up like ours. Cleaning cat puke out of the carpet every day and never finding a good solution to the problem is TRAG. It has helped my Dew a lot and we are very thankful to have found something that not only does he like but that I can afford to feed him. I'm sure it's not the BEST grain free cat food in the world, but I can't afford a $50-60 box of cat food either, especially since he only eats wet cat food. I've never been able to feed him dry food, it only makes things worse. This is the best cat food I have found that will keep him happy and healthy and not make him sick. I don't usually write reviews but in the spirit of helping others with the same CRAZY problem we are having I thought I'd give it a try...
