When I showed my 4 1/2 year old grandson the cool box I was afraid he was expecting a 'toy'. To my surprise, he was crazy about cosmic patterns and colors. He put them on when he came to my house today and showed them off straight away. This kid is NOT a mod, but the cool socks were a hit! Haven't had the experience of washing them BUT they are thinner than most socks which makes the shoes too tight. I am very satisfied and am considering ordering another space collection in the near future.
