UPDATED: I tried returning the product at first but the return period had expired so I decided to write a review instead. After I posted the review, I received an email from the company's customer service team. I believe this gentleman's name is Greg. He asked if there was anything he could do to help and please give him details of the issues I am having with the cable. I let it know it was working fine when I got it, but after that it worked intermittently and eventually just stopped working. Greg was quick to reply to my email and explained that based on the information provided he suspects that the cable is in fact defective and they will replace it with no problem. I got a new cable and it works great! I am rewriting this review because I am SO IMPRESSED with the customer service of this company that I would DEFINITELY and ALWAYS look for them to buy from them again. I have NEVER experienced such fantastic customer service from a company. They didn't have to contact me, they didn't have to change the cable (this wasn't part of the return policy) BUT any company that stands behind their product and sends a replacement when they don't need it is TOP in my understanding. Book. THANK YOU for my new cable GREG! and THANK YOU "Plugable" for supporting your product and taking care of this issue. Original post: I bought this cable to set up 2 monitors for my home office. This cable goes from the monitor to my computer's dock and initially worked fine, but I've had this cable since March 2014 and it's now November and the cable has already failed. I checked the connection with another cable and had no problems, so it really is the defective cable. I recommend everyone not to buy this cable as the quality is not very good unless I stumble upon a broken cable. Now it's too late to get a refund, not very happy about it.
