Our boiler started leaking after two years due to internal wear. There are many reasons why this could happen. Without going into details, except that I use a Camco magnesium anode here, followed by regular inspection, just like the Suburban brand. Either way, along with patience and know-how, this kit will save you several hundred dollars. However, I'm not sure I'll do it again. It was just brutal work. The rings that hold the tank to the reusable exterior structure are very difficult to remove and install. I ordered a replacement set and am glad I did as I broke three trying to install them. This was the case even after chamfering the pipes with a file. In fact, I couldn't attach them until I more aggressively beveled the burner tubes with a goddamn hammer. In any case, good luck!
