I've been using this vent mount for a few weeks and I'm just WOW. This was an alternative to a CD slot phone mount that I used because I was traveling between states and wanted to change CDs and check my console. This vent phone is similar to others in that it holds the phone in place and has a release button on the left side (rather than the back) which is nice. The PLUS is that it doesn't just slip down your vents, there is a hook that snaps onto your vent and you twist to tighten. When you tighten it, not only does it put pressure on the individual vent you're attaching it to, but it spreads out in a way that makes your vent less likely to break. I just got back from a 5 hour drive from Maryland to New York last night in torrential rain hitting potholes and bumps and that mountain never once dropped my phone. Surprised by what he can do and would definitely recommend.
