43 year old fitness enthusiast here. Everyone in my family has a Garmin watch that I buy at a flea market. This band is great for my 9 year old daughter's watch as she loves pink. I didn't want an all pink stripe because I felt it didn't go well with the 230's black dial. It was the right accent of pink while keeping the black motif. I also feel that the large center holes and stylus make it easier for their little hands to turn the watch on and off, it's very similar to my 920. The bracelet itself is easy to put on and the package comes with everything you need to do it. It appears to be a great product and is just as soft/pliable as the original that came with the watch. I used to buy replacement bands that weren't as soft as the original bands. To be clear I've only had this strap a few days but it fits and feels just like the original with the benefit of the larger center holes and pins which for me is a bonus on the Garmin Forerunner 230.
