This is my favorite brush at the moment. I have 4 synthetic brushes and they are all fine. I could live with any of them. I've been using Frank's G4 for a few days and I'm very happy with it. Of the three elements of shaving; Foam, razor and blade, I think the foam is perhaps the most important thing. With minimal face prep and a really good lather, I can get a good shave with almost any blade and razor. Without face prep and a good lather I will never get an acceptable shave. I've tried boar hair and badger hair brushes; cheap and never really liked. All of my plastics were under $20 and they are great. But this one is now my favorite. Lumps of quality foam, fast.
