I have a pretty snazzy gaming case, the CORSAIR Vengeance C70, and I wanted to buy a bracket adapter to fit my two Samsung SSDs in a 5th generation .25 bay that I can remove the standard internal drive bays on the bottom of the case to improve airflow. I love the concept of this ICY DOCK Mount Adapter Kit and would love to see it work for me, but unfortunately this product sticks out too far forward that I can't even cover the front bay cover. I don't know how anyone missed this, or maybe my case has serious clearance requirements to hide internals, but this is just extremely frustrating and I have to look for a new dual mount adapter in the 5.25 slot. Since I believe 5.25 drives have fairly standard distance specifications between the screw locations and the front edge of the bay, I can safely say that if your 5.25 drive's bay cover depth requirements exceed 1" (I need 1 .25 inches), then forget it. Trying to cover the bay, it collides with the mount. I would like the ICY DOCK to make the mount shorter to fit my suitcase or have an adjustable sliding mechanism so I can pull the whole set deeper into the suitcase.
