The locking part works fine but if you want to open the tailgate normally you have to pull the handle much harder, which is not the case. as smooth as the OEM grip. Sometimes I feel like it breaks as soon as I open the tailgate. The good thing is that you can buy an original keyhole grip and the locking mechanism of this grip fits the original grip exactly. All you have to do is remove a 10mm bolt and move the entire locking mechanism. It's a shame that you can't just buy the locking mechanism and the lock at POP.
