I installed it today and my rating is based on ease of installation and final appearance. The material is good as I said, the density of the foam is higher, springy. In general, I can say that it makes a difference when my child hits the corner of the bed with his head. The application part was easy, but you have less control over placement when applying a long piece. There were also no instructions on how to use the 3M tape and where best to apply it. A seam between the corner pieces and any other piece of the same foam will leave a visible line. So forget it if you are looking for a high cosmetic look. Because the product was rolled up in the original packaging, the inner smaller diameter loops were wrinkled. I cut off a slightly longer length that I had to trim later. Surprisingly, I still didn't have enough length. I found that when gluing a long piece the foam compressed, contrary to my measurement there was no tape and the foam stretched. I would design and sell a cheap application tool with this product if I could.
