Reliable watch after six weeks

As a scouting person I wanted a decent watch with some navigation features and settled on this one. What I've done with this watch: - Taken several hikes with an altimeter and compass - Repeatedly swam to the bottom of a 10ft pool - Body surfed a 3ft stretch of shoreline - Tracks heart rate and pedometer while jogging - Barometer tracks pressure, when hurricanes passed nearby - back of watch partially resolved by putting it on without taking it off - wet insect repellent (ugly but still works) Fun Facts: - the size of the watch fits my 7.5 inch wrist - The band is comfortable enough for printing, although I wonder how durable it is given the large hole size - The watch is very light (I consider it a pro) - The battery lasted six weeks from the first charge using the above mentioned use and it still doesn't show low battery indicator โ€“ The patented charging cable works, but I wish it was USB-C so I don't have one e would have to worry about losing it, but tons of protrusions and sometimes accidental bumps - not a big deal, be aware - the reversed display is hard to read in low light; Get a display with black text on a white background. The compass is accurate enough for basic navigation, but I wouldn't rely on it to steer a ship or do difficult orienteering. I still haven't figured out how to record runs or calibrate a barometer. I would deduct half a star for readability issues, but otherwise I have no major complaints.

Pros
  • Travel mode: integrated altimeter, pedometer and heart rate monitor; 30 recordable data + 10 automatically recorded highest altitudes + calorie consumption calculation + heart rate alarm; supports hiking, running and many other outdoor activities.
