As you collect the first two daisies you are left wondering if this set was what it was supposed to be. That little doubt creeps in. But once you place the first center on the first rose, you will fall in love with the set and the design. Despite the daisies, each flower in the set is highly detailed and well made. The colors are amazing. This is a really great set that can be placed anywhere you would place a vase of real flowers. One of the big issues I have is that the manual background is very deep and dark black. There is almost no contrast between the dark green and black LEGO elements. I have good eyesight and struggled to understand a few steps. This is an especially bad omission as this set makes the perfect Mother's Day or Birthday present that could get into the hands of older age groups than the regular set. Older age groups with poor eyesight. Luckily my plan was to build it before gifting it to a recipient over 60. Aside from this issue, the booklet is good at everything else. It includes some tidbits about different LEGO parts and their 'normal' uses that were fun to read along the way. All LEGO sets are insanely overpriced, so there's not much to say about the price other than that it's in line with the rest of their pricing scheme. In this set you get many detailed and very small parts. But when you collect the entire bouquet, it fills a large vase and can easily be called the centerpiece of any table. This is a truly impressive set that I am very happy with. The photographs don't even convey his general presence. It's beautiful in person. I had trouble getting it earlier this year and can say with confidence that the demand was justified. Luckily, Revain finally had stock to order at RRP the last time I checked my wish list. Grab it if you can!
