The camera is great for some family games. It seems to run without lag and very smoothly. I tested it with a friend on video chat and we were able to see and hear each other with no problems. I have to say this and believe me I'm not a fan but there are Kinect aspects to this camera with some games. I was playing an aquarium game and I could run my hand and throw water and touch the fish, so I thought it was cool. As for the future, I'm excited to see what Move has in store. Basic Review: Concept Design: It's a little bulky and oddly shaped, but it works. I've dropped it a few times but it still works great, note the fact that I didn't drop it 15ft in the air, I dropped it on a tile from 5ft. It also has a handy tilt feature so if you place the camera high you can still point the camera down. Optical: For a basic camera, it works very well in high resolution with no lag. But on the other hand, how much movement and how many objects you need to capture in the camera is important. As soon as a person plays carelessly, he gets the job done. Focusing isn't that hard, you just need someone to focus for you while you stay in one spot, or just line your subject up with the right aiming point and focus from there. Audio: I've noticed that the noise-cancelling technology doesn't work very well at times, but it's minimal. However, it does a great job of picking me up from 15ft without having to yell, which is very nice. I only collect cards. PSN also has some good family games to buy. Overall: It's good if you want to look into the future of gaming or just want to chat and take photos. However, sometimes it's better to buy a bundled camera if you like the game it comes with.
