That's fine and I can think of many creative uses for them. I bought them for a different purpose than most people would buy them and right now it doesn't look like they will work. I have three pairs of large planar headphones and the ear cups are wider than typical dynamic driver headphones. These large ear pads mean the ear pads are too big for the headphone stand and protrude beyond the edges, which can cause irreversible creases in the ear pads. The plan was to stick two of these together with double sided tape and then attach them to the stand under the ear pads. I wanted them to match the color of the base, so I painted over a few of them. They don't pick up stains very well. I've made them look acceptable but the double sided tape isn't holding the two together, I'm guessing because they keep some oil from staining. Maybe a little glue would have worked better. But after trying to position them correctly, I decided to buy wider frames. It cost more money, but these earpads are expensive, and overall I felt like they were worth replacing for as long as possible. Can't fault the product, I'm sure these are high quality discs that would be great for other creative projects like making tree decorations for kids or other arts and crafts. I took a picture and unfortunately it didn't work that well for me. I can only find another way to use them.
