I like the idea that you can pack everything and make it smaller. I bought them to store things in our house for the winter and to free up space. Luckily I have a chunky boot that I was able to squeeze "most" of the air out of. The supplied pump is not suitable for those who do not have a vacuum to suck in air due to the nature of the cost. So it wasn't the best choice. Don't travel with a vacuum, so if it's "emptied" and blankets are used, or if you want to reseal it if you accidentally open it, it's no good at all. Very sorry with this particular product. Again, the value system isn't the best. I would not recommend this product for travelers **unless you have a vacuum or something good that sucks air**
