I wouldn't say it's better than the competition. What I like is that it's two cameras in one. It's also just plain cool. It's really well designed. It feels and looks high quality. With the diving case, you can record really high-quality 360-degree videos underwater. 360° underwater without a diving case is simply not possible. But the 4K action camera works great underwater. The only drawback is the short battery life. It's no shorter than any of its competitors (it's actually better), but still shorter than we'd like. I bought an extended battery, but this battery is not waterproof! I want to be able to record a long 360 underwater video and I don't have a solution for that at the moment.
